About IPOSathi

IPOSathi tracks Indian IPOs in one place — live grey market premium (GMP), subscription status, allotment and listing dates, price bands and lot sizes, for both mainboard and SME issues. The goal is simple: everything you need before you apply, on one screen, without five tabs open.

Where our data comes from

IPO details are aggregated from public sources — exchange filings (NSE, BSE), the issue’s registrar, and the red herring prospectus. GMP figures are collected from public grey-market quotes and cross-checked against a second source before we publish them. When our number and the second source disagree materially, we flag it rather than guess.

Our Editorial & Data Research Methodology

To maintain high content quality and user trust, every piece of analysis on IPOSathi follows a strict 5-step editorial review:

  • RHP Prospectus Audit: We extract official financial balance sheets, debt positions, and risk factors directly from SEBI filing documents.
  • Peer Valuation Benchmarking: We compare post-issue P/E and P/B multiples against industry-listed peers to provide objective valuation context.
  • Independent Analysis: Articles are authored by financial researchers without sponsored promotion or promoter compensation.
  • Live Exchange Data: Bidding subscription metrics (QIB, NII, Retail) are updated directly from exchange feeds.
  • Transparent Risk Warnings: Every article and data table carries explicit disclaimers regarding market risk and non-advisory nature.

Our line on GMP

We are deliberately honest about grey market premium: it is an unofficial, unregulated sentiment number, not a forecast of the listing price. We even measured how accurate it has been against real listings — GMP gets the direction right far more often than the exact number, and it is much noisier for SME issues than mainboard ones. We’d rather tell you that than sell you a premium.

What we are not

IPOSathi is an information service. We are not a broker, a registrar, or SEBI-registered advisers, and nothing here is investment advice — see our disclaimer. We can’t place applications or change allotments; for that, use your broker or the registrar.

Editorial Independence

IPOSathi is independently run. We accept no paymentto feature, rate, rank, or promote any IPO. No promoter, underwriter, or lead manager has ever influenced our analysis or data. The accuracy of the information is the only thing we’re selling — a number we took money to inflate would be worthless.
