Understanding the SEBI T+3 IPO Timeline in India
In December 2023, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) made the T+3 listing timeline mandatory for all public issues in India, drastically reducing the time between an IPO closing and shares listing from the previous T+6 framework.

Important Tips for IPO Calendar Planning
- Bank clearing holidays can shift allotment and listing dates by 1–2 working days.
- SME IPOs follow a slightly earlier daily closing cut-off (4:00 PM IST) compared to Mainboard IPOs (5:00 PM IST).
- Always verify anchor investor allocation dates, which occur exactly one day before the public bidding window opens.
