Indian IPO Calendar & Schedule (2026)

Track official opening, closing, basis of allotment, demat credit, and listing dates for all upcoming and active initial public offerings on the BSE, NSE, and SME platforms.

Understanding the SEBI T+3 IPO Timeline in India

In December 2023, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) made the T+3 listing timeline mandatory for all public issues in India, drastically reducing the time between an IPO closing and shares listing from the previous T+6 framework.

StageTimelineWhat Happens & Investor Action
Bidding WindowDay T-2 to Day TPublic bidding is open for 3 consecutive working days (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM IST). Retail and HNI investors submit ASBA bids via their broker app or net banking.
UPI Mandate ApprovalDay T (by 5:00 PM)Investors must approve the blocking mandate in GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, or BHIM before 5:00 PM on closing day. Unapproved mandates lead to automatic bid cancellation.
Basis of AllotmentDay T+1Designated stock exchange and registrar finalize the lottery draw and allotment proportions. Results are published on the registrar portal late evening.
Demat Credit & UnblockingDay T+2Allotted shares are credited directly to your NSDL/CDSL Demat account. Blocked funds of unallotted applications are released back to your bank balance.
Listing DayDay T+3Pre-open call auction runs from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM to discover the listing price. Normal continuous trading commences at 10:00 AM IST on NSE and BSE.

Important Tips for IPO Calendar Planning

  • Bank clearing holidays can shift allotment and listing dates by 1–2 working days.
  • SME IPOs follow a slightly earlier daily closing cut-off (4:00 PM IST) compared to Mainboard IPOs (5:00 PM IST).
  • Always verify anchor investor allocation dates, which occur exactly one day before the public bidding window opens.
