Xtranet Technologies IPO: GMP, Price Band and Dates
A Rs 167 crore mainboard issue opening 23 July with a modest but steady grey market premium. Price band, lot maths, application limits and the dates that matter.
Xtranet Technologies opens on 23 July 2026 with a grey market premium of about Rs 13, roughly 10 percent over the upper band.
That is a more modest premium than the headline issues opening the same week, and modest is not the same as weak. Here is what the numbers actually say.
The issue at a glance
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Price band | Rs 120 - Rs 127 |
| Lot size | 110 shares |
| Minimum application | Rs 13,970 (1 lot at cut-off) |
| Issue size | Rs 167 crore |
| Opens | 23 July 2026 |
| Closes | 27 July 2026 |
| Basis of allotment | 28 July 2026 |
| Listing | 30 July 2026 |
| Listing at | NSE and BSE |
| Registrar | KFin Technologies |
At Rs 167 crore this is a small mainboard issue. That cuts both ways: a smaller book can be covered quickly and can move sharply on listing, in either direction.
Application limits
| Category | Application value | Lots at cut-off |
|---|---|---|
| Retail | Up to Rs 2 lakh | 1 to 14 lots |
| Small NII (sNII) | Rs 2 lakh to Rs 10 lakh | 15 to 71 lots |
| Big NII (bNII) | Above Rs 10 lakh | 72 lots and up |
One lot at cut-off is Rs 13,970. Fourteen lots comes to Rs 1,95,580, just under the retail ceiling.
If the issue is oversubscribed, retail allotment is a lottery run on applications, not on the money in them. Fourteen lots in one application does not improve your odds of getting something over one lot in that same application. Separate applications on separate PANs is what changes the arithmetic, and each of those has to be a different person legitimately applying.
Reading a 10 percent premium
A premium in this range is worth less excitement and roughly the same caution as a large one:
- It is unofficial. No exchange, no regulator, no settlement record. A handful of private dealers quoting a small volume.
- It is current, not predictive. It reflects appetite today. Premiums routinely compress in the days before listing, and the gap between the last quoted GMP and the actual open has been wide in both directions.
- It is thinner on a small issue. On a Rs 167 crore book, fewer trades are needed to move the quoted number than on a multi-thousand-crore one.
Ten percent is a sentiment reading, not a margin of safety. It says the grey market is mildly positive right now. It says nothing about the business.
The dates that actually decide things
Bidding closes on 27 July. For mainboard issues the UPI mandate cut-off is 17:00 IST on the closing day. A mandate approved after that does not count, and a lapsed mandate is one of the most common reasons an application silently fails — approve it when you apply, not on the last afternoon.
Basis of allotment is 28 July, with KFin Technologies as registrar. Registrars frequently publish late in the evening or in the small hours of the next morning, so nothing showing by dinner time on the 28th is normal.
Listing is 30 July on both NSE and BSE.
The honest summary
Xtranet is a small mainboard issue with a steady, unspectacular grey market premium and a low entry price of under Rs 14,000 for a lot. The premium is not the story here, and it should not be the reason to apply.
What should carry the decision is the prospectus: what the company does, what it earns, and what the valuation looks like next to listed peers. A 10 percent grey market quote three days before bidding opens tells you what a small group of dealers think this week. It is a starting point for a question, not the answer to one.
Nothing here is investment advice. Grey market premium is an unofficial indicator and we are not SEBI-registered analysts. Figures are as published at the time of writing and can change - check the red herring prospectus for the terms that apply to this issue.
